Thank you Aleeza. (And your blog is so fun to read.)
Here are my 7 bits of (weird) info:
1) I love using paprika in/on most everything I cook.
2) I just inherited a massive, muscled cat named YETI. I swear, it's a lion cub.
3) I believe in kindred spirits. Like my hubby.
4) I cry when I read Melina Marchetta books. And then, I read passages to other people to get them to cry and when they don't, I wonder about their kindred spiritedness. (Ahem, hubby?)
5) I love trees. Inordinately, in that I can stare at one for an inordinate passage of time.
6) I love movies and books set in the American South. Strangely, they remind me of the happenings on my visits to Southern India as a child.
7) The right color combos can influence my decisions, big and small. This saddens me for some strange reason. BUT, the colorific picture below makes me so so happy:
I know I've seen this award being passed around a lot so I'm most probably giving it to many people who've already received it, but...here are some bloggers I often read through my google reader:
uzma at novelicious,
macdougal street baby at unnecessary noise prohibited,
anita at beyond the diapers and spills,
priya at girl meets world,
erin at writeme,
cheyanne at cheyanne young,
krista at musings of a steel magnolia and writer
glenna at blue lipstick samurai
tim at life of riles
medeia at medeia sharif
These are the specs:
1. Thank the bestower of the award.
2. Share 7 things about yourself.
3. Pass the award on to 10 bloggers (i chose 10, but of course you can widen the rainbow).
4. Let the bloggers know they've won.
(if you already received the award, please just smile happily that you got it again. :)

Thank you, lovely! *smiling happily*
Funny, I lived in the American South for a few years as a child, and I LOVE stories from India. Hm....
AAAH MUSCLED CAT!
Thank you, Sajidah! :D
so interesting about the colors and how different perceptions can be, because while that green and blue heart made you sad, it made me happy. ...or maybe i was just happy to be on your list. haha. ;)
Oh, my! Thank you! Thank you! I can't help but to channel Sally Field right about now.
Speaking of colors, have you read any Laini Taylor? I remember you commenting on loving Stephanie Perkin's blue hair. Well, Mrs.Taylor sports an amazing shade of hot pink. I'm currently reading Lips Touch Three Times and I highly recommend it. I don't usually read about ghosts and goblins but the woman can write and I'm always up for a good story.
Have a wonderful Wednesday and, again, thanks for liking me.
I enjoyed reading your seven, especially #6-very interesting. Thanks for thinking of me with the award. I'm very honored.
I hope all is going well at school.
Yay thank you for the award! I've been wanting this one, lol. It's funny how colors influence you, because that heart photo makes me happy and not sad.
And a muscled cat? Awesome! Mine are fat and lazy.
Lol, no, no, I wasn't saying the heart picture makes me sad...I was saying that: the fact that colors affect me so much makes me sad.
I heart that picture of the jellybean hearts so much. It's perfect. <3 <3
Macdougal street baby (now I feel weird writing this comment to a baby), I haven't read Laini Taylor but oooh, I'm going to look her up. I've been in the mood for a good creepy story. (Especially one written by someone with hot pink hair! :)
Thank you so much. I'm going to link it on my Blog Awards page.
I just read Jellicoe Road. It did make me cry.
I love your blog!
I love paprika too, and I'm now curious about the author, Melina Marchetta.
Thank a bunch for passing the award to me! I am having fun getting to know you and others out in bloggyland; a place where only those of us who participate in it, can understand it. :)
oh. my. god. seriously, i canNOT believe i never even dropped by to see if you'd carried on the award. im SOOOOOOOOOO sorry! seriously, ive been so busy, but that's no excuse. thank you for your compliments, btw! :)
i need to read some melina marchetta asap. and i have a thing for the right color combos too, for some reason.
