This one made me all Dobby-like, wondering why I'd never read it before, ever, in my whole life, even though the cover had called out to me countless times, from the bookstore, the library, my daughter's room, a colleague's classroom - but I, bad me, just never drew near. (Until I had to, at the cottage, as it just happened to fling itself into my humongous books-to-read bag and lay panting at the very top. I picked it up and didn't set it down until I finished it, after which the world looked changed, more dewy and cuddly.)
